Unscouted Terms Of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-28 launch template.

These Terms govern access to the Unscouted mobile app, public account/legal pages, and related launch services in the United States and Canada.

The Service

Unscouted is a recreational sports league app for accounts, profiles, leagues, rosters, invites, matches, ratings, standings, stats, tournaments, sessions, support, safety workflows, and billing/entitlement handoffs. It is not an official sports governing body, sportsbook, medical service, emergency service, or regulated financial service.

Ratings, rankings, standings, recap content, analytics, and deep stats are app projections based on submitted league data and eligibility rules. They are not universal rankings and may be corrected, recomputed, delayed, limited by sample size, or hidden based on league configuration, privacy, entitlement, safety, or moderation rules.

Accounts And Profiles

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may not impersonate another person, create confusing profile identities, misuse tracked-player claim flows, interfere with another account, or bypass account, league, entitlement, privacy, or safety controls.

Tracked-player profiles may be created by league admins for unclaimed roster members. Claiming a tracked profile requires a trusted invite/claim link, verified email match, or league-admin approval. Admins and platform support may reject, correct, undo, or escalate claims where the data does not match the real player or creates conflicting ownership.

League Responsibilities

League owners and admins are responsible for league setup, roster accuracy, roles, invites, match correction, dispute review, safety escalation, member communications, and compliance with any club, venue, school, youth, employment, privacy, accessibility, or local rules that apply to their league.

Free, Plus, and Max league access is league-scoped. A user's personal Legend subscription does not automatically grant Plus or Max league admin features, and one paid league does not automatically grant paid access to other leagues.

Match Data, Ratings, And Corrections

Users and admins must submit match and point data in good faith. Admins may edit matches, resolve disputes, void invalid results, correct season membership, and apply audited rating or standing corrections where the app permits it.

Open, contested, voided, deleted, invalid, or out-of-season matches may be excluded from active ratings, standings, stats, or recap outputs until they are resolved. Historical match records may remain visible where league/member permissions allow, even when a block or report limits new interaction.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Unscouted to:

Unscouted may limit, suspend, remove, or terminate access, content, league features, billing access, or support privileges when needed to protect users, the service, providers, or legal obligations.

Support Model

Launch support is self-serve-first. Help, onboarding, billing guidance, provider-routed purchase/refund paths, and account/legal deletion, export, and privacy workflows are available to every user. Human non-self-serve product support is a Max league benefit with a 1-business-day target. Account/legal, provider, safety, and billing exceptions may be routed separately when required.

Support communication should happen primarily through the app's internal support/inbox experience when live. Email is fallback only for signed-out, deliverability, provider, legal/account, and required transactional workflows.

Payments, Refunds, And Credits

Account Legend is a mobile store subscription orchestrated through RevenueCat, App Store/StoreKit on iOS, and Google Play Billing on Android. Legend purchase, restore, cancellation, refund, reversal, and payment-method changes are handled through the relevant store/provider flow.

Gift Legend is a fixed-duration, non-renewing account Legend gift for 1 month or 1 year. Paid Gift Legend codes do not expire and have no inactivity fees. Refunds for unredeemed gifts route through the purchase provider. A confirmed provider refund, reversal, fraud action, or support action can void an unredeemed gift or revoke remaining gifted Legend access after redemption.

League Plus and Max billing is planned as Stripe-backed web/admin billing scoped to a specific league. Public pricing uses USD launch base prices for the United States and Canada. Stripe checkout, hosted invoices, receipts, and portal pages show any final tax or total where Stripe provides it.

League billing owner transfers are managed-support-only at launch. League refunds and credits are managed billing support exceptions. Paid league owners cannot self-serve refunds or credits in the app or Customer Portal, and downgrades, cancellations, sponsored-access reductions, or usage reductions do not automatically create prorated cash refunds. Only elevated platform billing admins may execute Stripe refunds or credit notes. Normal adjustments default to Stripe credit notes or account credits where appropriate.

Unscouted does not issue app-side cash refunds for mobile Legend subscriptions and does not expose provider secret keys in the mobile client.

Privacy, Export, And Deletion

The Privacy Policy explains how Unscouted collects, uses, stores, and shares information. Account/legal export is a non-tiered workflow. Authenticated users can request a requester-scoped CSV download through a short-lived signed URL or, when production Resend delivery is configured, email delivery of that signed link to their verified account email. Personal history/calendar exports and league-wide exports are deferred for launch unless reopened.

Authenticated users can request account deletion through the privacy/support workflow. A request creates a legal/account ticket and starts a 30-day review marker. Deletion is not immediate. After the review date, a platform admin may run the service-owned deletion execution workflow, which removes live account access, deletes or expires live access artifacts, detaches and deletes the Supabase Auth account where it exists, and anonymizes the profile retained for league history. Retention exceptions, provider reconciliation, and audit handling remain part of that admin/service workflow.

Availability And Changes

Unscouted may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, providers, launch markets, prices for future billing periods, support paths, or store availability. We may update these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change.

Disclaimers And Liability

The service is provided as available. Unscouted does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free scoring, immediate provider updates, exact ratings, exact standings, or permanent availability of any feature. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Unscouted is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost league opportunities, or provider outages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limits, so some limits may not apply to you.
